Hi friends!
Today I’m going to talk about what we did over the weekend… and what we do for most weekends and how its oodles and oodles of fun. <3
Since before I was born my family has been going to our lakehouse in Michigan, and we’ve be blessed to go boating many weekends of our summers. Here’s our place, behind a massive tree, (lots of shade)!
We’ve done many different watersports over time, but we’ve really taken a liking to skiing and we have a lot of fun with it. So that’s primarily the pictures I take, and what got me into photography in the first place. I’m trying to save you guys time and put those pictures in collages of 4 to save you time if you don’t want to see them, just skip over them.
But before we start check out this rockin’ sunset. I’m so lucky to be able to spend time here.
Here’s Kyle skiing, he’s my oldest brother and is a rockstar.
And here’s Kody, also a rockstar and my older brother
And his fiancé, Audra, just started skiing with us last year, and has already learned how to drop a ski, but hasn’t quite mastered it yet! But she’ll get it next time!! It was too rough this weekend!
Then, we have our pal Wiggs who is 6’8 and hasn’t skied before, HE DID IT THIS WEEKEND, for a second, but it counts!!!
This is him falling, falling photos are the best.
Then he got it, and was super fierce about it as you can tell….causing him to fall.
Here’s my brother’s dog, Layla. She’s still a puppy, but she’s a lot of fun to mess with when Troy isn’t around 😛
But wait, there’s more! We don’t only ski, although I mentioned it. We went discing – which is really hard to explain but its awesome and they do cool things with it, but check it out,
Michael lives on the lake and his girlfriend, Michaela (below), is here most weekends too, they rock. And they’re both great at skiing, and many other things (like making ice cream).
They’re too funny, haha.
Here’s Michaela skiing from a distance!
But really, this place is so dang special to me, so I’m assuming throughout the summer I’ll keep you updated on how life is going here, because we’re planning on making it to the lake as many weekends as possible June-August/September
Great pictures at a wonderful place filled with awesome people!
